The Colt Python 2.5" is a compact CO₂-powered revolver designed for both pellet and BB shooting, offering versatility and a realistic operation in a small, powerful package. Chambered for 4.5 mm (.177) Pellets / BBs, this model delivers an energy level of under 3.0 joules and a velocity of 100 m/s (328 fps), making it suitable for controlled target shooting. With a length of 200 mm and a weight of 518 g, the revolver provides a lightweight yet solid feel in the hand.
One of its standout features is the inclusion of two types of magazines:
Two metal pellet magazines
One polymer BB magazine
This allows users to switch easily between pellet accuracy and high-volume BB shooting depending on preference.
The magazine capacity is 10 rounds, while the total shot capacity reaches 120 shots per 12 g CO₂ cartridge, offering long and uninterrupted shooting sessions. The revolver supports both single-action and double-action trigger modes, giving shooters flexibility in firing style. A sliding safety ensures secure handling during loading or storage.
The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, allowing users to refine accuracy at different distances. Combined with the Python’s compact frame and ergonomic grip, these features make it suitable for precision practice and general recreational shooting.
